Happiness doesn’t cost a thing!
Are your team happy in their roles?
They may say they are, but are they?
Team members who are happy at work tend to be more focused, efficient, and productive.
Finding out whether your team members are genuinely happy at work may be easier said than done, though.
After all, workers could give the impression that they’re comfortable even when they’re not.
Here are my four ways of finding out whether your team are genuinely content at the work:
CONDUCT AN EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION SURVEY
Conducting a survey will gauge whether your team is happy by simply asking them.
The survey can be undertaken anonymously.
CHECK OUT REVIEWS OF YOUR COMPANY
To get completely genuine views from your current or past team members, check out sites like glassdoor.com.
You will certainly find out what they think.
HAVE REGULAR 1:1 MEETINGS
While anonymity via surveys and review platforms enables you to access reliable and genuine employee feedback, face-to-face meetings also have their place.
ASSIGN TEAM MEMBERS NEW TASKS AND MONITOR THEIR RESPONSES
It can be helpful to occasionally put your team members to the test to find out whether they are as happy as they seem during one-on-one meetings.
When you try to find out whether your team members are happy, you will have already improved happiness at work.
Fostering a communicative and open company culture is a great way to ensure individuals are fulfilled.
